Brewed with Hale Brewing this guy is packed with Mosaic and HBC472. We then put a fig leaf extraction into the FV, this has given an amazing, light coconut vibe to beer. Combine that with the masses of pineapple coming from the HBC472, you've got a wildly tropical IPA. Perfect!

HOPS: Mosaic, HBC 472
MALT: Maris Otter Extra Pale, Oats, Carapils
YEAST: US05
OTHER: Fig leaves

Can. Hazy gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Smooth palate, decent fine carbonation. Silky pale malts, sweetish. Light hop spice. Smooth pine. Light fresh orange with an overriding soft floral peach. More nibbly spice on the back end. Wonderfully smooth hops here. Looking forward to trying more HBC472 hops.

Keg at BD TH, 29/08/18. Hazed golden yellow with a decent off white cap. Nose is punchy citric peel, papaya, pithy citrics, ripe tropical fruits, grass. Taste comprises papaya, melon, green berry twang, bitter sweet tropical fruits, passionfruit, orange wine gums. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close splashed with lightly aggressive come juicy hop bitterness. Not bad.

440ml can. Hazy golden with a big bright white head. Aroma is distinctive, presumably the fig leaves, herbal, tropical fruits. Taste is light sweet, coconutty, tropical fruits, pineapple, herbal, malts, a little pithy citrus, definitely got a bit of a piña colada vibe from this. Medium bodied, smooth, soft carbonation. Wasn't too keen on this at first but it grew on me.

Can at home in Barbados, from Grumpy Goat, live morning hammock rating, 19th August 18. Pours light straw colour. Aroma is light citrus, peach. Taste is actually quite tropical, citrus, mango, yeah pineapple and now I read it there is a hint of coconut, pinocolada thing going on, but that could just be an after shock from last nights cocktails.

Can picked up from Favourite Beers, Shared with Craig and Stella, Wednesday 7th August 2018 Fruity, tropical fruit, sweet, lemony colour with a white head. Perhaps a little bit too sweet, it's fine but still a bit fed up with the style. A7 A4 T7 P4 Ov14 3.6
