Grappapolis combines the well known spicy Belgian tripel yeast notes with the sharp, delicate grape flavours from a North-Italian Marolo Grappa. This beer goes well with either Belgian or Italian food. Or save the best for last and have it next to a Tiramisu or Lime Merengue Pie.

Dunkler, süß getreidiger Beginn. Erhöhte Karbonisierung, Alkohol, viele Kräuter. Mittellanger Abgang. Okay. 10/8/8/8/9/9

33cl bottle. A almost clear dark golden beer with a white head. Aroma of sweet strong pale malt, herbs, some honey. Taste of sweet strong pale malt, straw, honey.

Bottle. Amber color. Malt, a hint of yeast, grapes and grappa in the aroma. Malty sweetish flavor with grapes and soft floral notes. Pleasant.

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ van Rooij, Culemborg. Clear brown with a very thin white off-white head. Caramel arome with some raisins. Sweet taste with a bitter finish. Some suggested alcohol warmth in the finish. Weird, not a tripel at all.

Karamel, wijnachtig, kruidig. Redelijk zoet, redelijk veel koolzuur (ondanks weinig schuimkraag).

Bottle shared at Maakun’s. hazy nutbrown with thin ring head. Sweet malts, grain, raisans, alcoholic white wine, yeasty. Moderate sweet and bitter. Medium body and soft carbonation. Bottle shared thanks to sjogro. Bit hazy amber with small short lasting head. Cloves, brown sugar, soft alcohol, sweet grape juice, light boozy, garbage bags, bitter raw potatoe, winegums, light herbal. Quite sweet and over medium bitter. Over medium bodied with slick oily feel and low carbonation. Not too bad, though the plastic notes in the finish are a bit too much.
