This one-off Double Dry Hopped Pale is brewed to deliver the same hop flavour intensity as our signature DDH Pale but with a fuller, smoother body. We used this platform to showcase two hops known to provide bright and succulent citrus notes, making for the kind of full-flavoured, juicy flavour profile that would usually be associated with a higher ABV.

Can at home in Hackney - picked up at BMT, Hackney Wick. Pours murky orange-gold with a frothy, white head. A bit raw overall, lots of chalky hop powder, some bitter orange rind, pithy grapefruit, bitter pine needles. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Finishes with more hoppy rawness, citrus fruits, dry pale malts, more pine needles. Yeah, just a bit raw overall.

On keg at the Hanging Bat. Appearance - hazy yellow orange. Decent lacing. Nose - overripe melon and herbaceous note. Taste - tomato plant and melon again. Palate - creamy and light to medium bodied. Dry bitter resinous finish. Overall - slightly more resin than ideal, but still good.

Can at home, 16/06/19. Murky orange yellow with a decent off white cap that dissipates to a swirl. Nose is cantaloupe melon, grass, gentle pine, grapefruit. Taste comprises orange pith, light pine, weed, melon, pale malts, pineapple, grass. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with grassy hop bitterness. Decent IPA but doesn't quite match up to other more recent CW hoppy releases so well.

Keg at 73 Enid Street. A murky golden orange coloured pour with a halo white head. Aroma is nice juicy mango, dank, sticky tropical fruits, petrol like grassy notes. Flavour is composed of rounded wheat grains, super fresh green hop, hop dust, onion, spicy hop, grassy hop oils. Palate is medium bodied, frothy carbonation, some hop resinous oils. Super fresh and fun.
