HOUTGERIJPTE GOLDEN SOUR MET RABARBER EN ZWARTE BESSENBLAD
Meander is als een ontspannen avondwandeling in een zomerse moestuin, waar de verschillende geuren van fruit, groenten en bloemen je tegemoet komen. Terwijl je langzaam van de ene plek naar de andere loopt, vloeien de geuren in elkaar over als een rivier die door het landschap schuift.
Meander heeft een zachte, zilte bite van rabarber, die zich fraai mengt met de rode fruittoetsen van het cassisblad. Een spannend, wijnachtig, ‘pfefferlich’ bier waarin je een hint van groene peper, paprika en vlierbloesem kunt ontdekken. Een geheel met vele kleuren en een zeer bijzondere drinkervaring.

Bottle at tasting. Aroma of tart, oak, acidic sourness, blackberries, wheat and some orange. Taste of tart orange, wheat, blackberries, wheat, oak and dry funk. Interesting complex beer.

Bottle. Blonde. Oak, vanilla, rhubarb, soft herbal notes and cassis in the complex aroma. Sour flavor with oak, cassis, rhubarb. Dry, soft herbal finish. Nice!

Bottle at home from Sterk, Amsterdam, in the garden, 28th July 19. Pours a hazy yellow orange. Aroma is tart fruit, light funk. Taste is watery, berry, light tart, bit acidic, cactus, light savoury, unusual as per Nevel. It’s good, but could be more sour and pointed.

Aus der Flasche im 2019-05 getrunken. Dieses goldene Ale hat eine sehr gut balancierte, leichte Säure und eine schöne Frucht. Durch die Fassreifung ist das Ale sehr ausgewogen und der Körper ist recht vollmundig. Lecker!

Bottle shared. Totally clear golden with small almost white head. Rhubarb up front, soft other red sour fruits, light funk, lactic, subtle artisanal fruit yoghurts or smoothies, lemon, fresh green leaves and grass. Medium sour, subtle light sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with soft mineral and oily feel, low carbonation. Very subtle and refined, great beer!
