Canned 2020, BB 2021, bought recently from Etre. black color, small tan head. smells cinnamon, nutty, bitter chocolate, spices, vanilla, specoloos. nice to very nice smell. full body, light carbonation. tastes cinnamon, nutty, spices, vanilla, specoloos. finishes lightly dry and lightly roasty with notes of cinnamon, vanilla and specoloos. very nice one, body is rather light for the ABV, but great complexity.

33cl can (BB: 10/11/2021) from Etre Gourmet web shop. F: medium, tanned, average retention. C: dark, hazy, opaque. A: rich chocolate, cocoa, chocolate sauce, toffee, caramel, dried fruits, vanilla, bit coffee, complex. T: full malty base, cocoa, chocolate, toffee, maple syrup, dried fruits, vanilla, bit oxidized also but still very good, soft carbonation, nice balanced bitterness, fully enjoyed.

Can from Gedeelde Vreugde. Cloudy black, stable, foamy, beige head. Aroma of fondant, vanilla, smoking wood, maple syrup, prune, dried fig, coffee bean, clove, cinnamon. Taste has sweet prune, date and raisin in a malty body of maple & toffee, quite chocolatey too; bit smoky over a bitter base of coffee, wood & fondant. Herbal hoppy finish, slightly peppery, spicy notes of tonka & cinnamon lingering over chocolate and umami soy, softly warming brandy-like alcohol. Full body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Adequately balanced with a whole lot of things going on. Great!

15/1/2022. Can from Hopsters, Ipswich shared with ITFCDan. Pours black with a frothy tan coloured head. Aroma of chocolate, caramel, pancake, pastry, treacle, touch of maple. Medium plus sweetness, moderate roasted bitterness. Medium to full body, creamy texture, average carbonation. Very nice.

Can. Sweet chocolate booze nose. Darkest brown, low brown head, medium full chewy cheap praline.

Can courtesy of Geraint and Helen, cheers! This was shared with the Ratebeer München group Friday 26th November 2021. Pours black with a filmy head. The nose is nice and woody, some maple syrup and softness, chocolate and I get the pancake suggestion good.

Can. Black color with beige head. Aroma is boozy, mild spices, chocolate cake indeed, don't get much maple. Taste is the same. Full-bodied mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Good!

ABV: 7.4%. Clear dark black brown colour with a large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, barrel, cake, maple, cocoa, vanilla, light spicy. Flavor is moderate yo heavy sweet and light moderate bitter with a long duration, chocolate, dark malt, cake, barrel, spicy, maple, vanilla, cocoa. Body is medium to medium full, texture is creamy, carbonation is soft. [20211104]
