Poured from 330mL can (bb 10/11/21). Jet black with tan head. Cocoa and cinnamon dominate with light roast and maple, touch of nutmeg. Pretty good, especially for the ABV, but which the cocoa was slightly less powdery.

Pours black, small tanned head. Scent is tad herbal almost, trough the combo of coffee and maple. Taste is full, smooth, mild bitterness. Sweet, but not as sweet as expected. Cinnamon, maple is hidden. Somewhat of the green coffee I also found in the 2020 base version. Would have enjoyed more maple, if you use that in the name of the beer. --- Beer merged from original tick of Caribbean White Chocolate Pancake Stack on 29 Nov 2021 at 12:10 - Score: Appearance - 7 | Aroma - 6.5 | Flavor - 6.5 | Texture - 7 | Overall - 7. Original review text: Pours clear, slightly darker gold to copper. Scent is coffee, heavy roasted. Taste is medium full, roasted coffee. Medium body. Mild bitterness.

Lecker!

Black. Thin head. On the nose, Has that sticky richness, maple for sure, and some nutmeg. It's similar on the palate, and damn sticky. The spice plays a background role along with the maple...oh I read the ingredients! That je ne sais quoi spiciness is the amburana. That's an awesome wood to use here. There's still elements I barely notice - even the cacao blends in with the usual stouty goodness.Impressively rich for a beer that isn't even that strong.

330ml can - Pours black with a small tan head that settled. Aroma is chocolatey, cocoa, maple syrup and sweet spice. A light sweet taste, sweet pastry, cocoa nibs, cinnamon and maple syrup flavours with a sweetish roasted finish.

330mL can, pours jet black with a small tan head. Nose is deep, with lots of cocoa and cinnamon upfront, followed by maple syrup and a hint of wood. Flavour pounds you with lots of cinnamon, maple syrup, and cocoa nibs in beautiful cohesion. The palate is medium thick, again with excellent cohesion. Not too sweet, not too spicy. Excellent.

330 ml can. Pours black with full tan head. Aromas of maple syrup, vanilla, dark chocolate, a bit of spicy oak, and slick roasted malts, Flavors of dark cocoa, green oak, soft sweet maple syrup, and oily roasted malt with a little cinnamon. A really nice mix avoiding an overly sweet brew, and super tasty for the ABV

Canned, 330 ml, shared with Max and Miro B. Dark brown with brownish head. Chocolate, coffee, cocoa, nice bitter finish. Medium bodied. Maybe a tad thin, but still nice.
