Black beer, thick tan head. Smells a little fruity but with a good whack of toasty malt. Flavour has toasty malt, a little anise, some caramel and a light fruitiness. Good body to it and a nice malty finish. Very decent.

Pint can. Completely black in colour, with a tight, tan, head. Aroma of blueberries, brown sugar and charcoal, with a touch of leafy hop. Full, dense mouth feel, with plenty of caramel, more fruit and ripe maltiness, leading to a bitter, slightly boozy, finish. A very good stout.
