Jopen Mooie Nel is een IPA met veel Amerikaanse hop die zorgt voor bitterheid met veel fruitige tonen.
IPA werd in de tijd van lange zeereizen extra zwaar gebrouwen en extra gehopt zodat het in de koloniën gedronken kon worden. Ook in Nederland hadden we onze versie van de IPA oftewel ‘duraebel scheepsbier’ voor Nederlands-Oost-Indië. Via de Amerikaanse Craft Beer Revolution is de IPA teruggekeerd in Europa.

Bottle. Hazy orange/gold. Beautiful head. Aroma of grapefruits, pines, mangos and honey. Taste is grapefruits, lemons, fruity, malty, sweet and bitter. Medium carbonation. Long lasting bitter aftertaste. Very nice IPA.

Bottle at The Tube, Luxembourg City. Pours hazy amber colour with a lasting bubbly off-white head. Aroma of hop, caramel, fruit and malt. Moderate sweetness, medium plus bitterness. Medium to full body, sticky texture, soft carbonation.

*Bottle from Trinkgut as "Northsea IPA". Smooth and mild floral beginning. Lots of fresh piney green hops, floral on a caramel,y and not too sweet but intense body. Great intense floral hoppy aftertaste with a moderate sweetness but intense floral green bitterness. Nice!

Bottle, thanks Jonas. A bit hazy dark golden with a small white head. Aroma of citrus, caramel and light biscuits. Similar taste. The body was medium as was the bitterness. An ok one, more malty than hoppy.

Tap @ Highlanders. Nice head eith good duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are rich hops, flowers, fruits and malt. Nice bitter finish.

330 ml bottle. Pours a copper color with full head. Aromas of mashed pineapple, jammy tropical fruit, pine, and doughy malts. Flavors of bitter grapefruit, dry pine, dry toffee and toasted malts. Clean and somewhat sharp. Nice.

From the tap at Feith Huis, Groningen, The Netherlands. Pours golden. Aroma is mostly malty and a little fruity. Body is medium. Taste has moderate bitterness. Finish is average.

F: huge, tan, very good retention. C: orange to amber, hint of hazy. A: malt, mango, pineapple, citrus, passionfruit, touch of biscuit. T: malt, tropical fruits, biscuits, fresh grassy, lemon, hop oil, medium body, medium carbonation, nicely balanced and tasty, enjoyed, 0,33l bottle from AH supermarket @ Amst. Schiphol Airport.

Draught. Creamy White good mostly lasting head. Yellow colour. Moderate malty and hoppy aroma. Heavy bitter flavor. Long heavy bitter finish. Creamy palate. Nice fresh IPA.
