Russian Imperial Stout
The third beer in the Doom Series saga in which Cervezoteca Malte, NaparBCN and Branca Studio got in on the action. Dark, slow, and lingering sounds were the source of inspiration in this tribute to the band Electic Wizard, the muse that brought about this Russian Imperial Stout that is enchanted with lactose, Ethiopian coffee and haba tonka.
Ingredients: Water, malts, Etiopian coffee, hops, lactose, tonka bean natural flavour and yeast.

Bottle: Poured a pitch-black color stout with a large dark brown foamy had with good retention and light lacing. Aroma of huge floral coffee notes with some lactose and nice black chocolate notes is super enticing. Taste is also a great mix of huge black chocolate notes with some lactose notes that offset any bitterness, some great floral coffee notes with a semi-sweet finish. Body is pretty full with good carbonation with no apparent alcohol notes. Great coffee/lactose stout and probably one of the best beer from Laugar.

Tap. Dark brown, close to black color. Aroma: sweet, vanilla, tonka, sweet spices, chocolate, soft, a drop of rum. Sweet taste, caramel, tonka bean, coffee, a little cinnamon, a little rum, soft, very good.

Had some good expectations for this, and it did not disappoint. Very good body, nicely creamy and a touch boozy. The right amount of tonka for some sugary cinnamon flavours, but not overpowered. Some coffee adds bitterness. Very flavourful, damn tasty.

From tap. Pours pitch black. Small tan head. Aroma is roasted dark malty. Sweet, toasted, dark malty. Sweet and roasted malty. Sweet and toasted finish.

Draught, half pint. @O Bandullo, Compostela. 28/06/2018. Pours black with a medium tan head. Poor retention. Aroma is tonka beans, black coffee and soft chocolate. Taste is intense black espresso coffee leading to a medium bitter and roasty finish. Taste is intense roasty and liquorice with a powerful coffee finish. Dry, harsh and roasty. Next one please!

Draught at KØ19. Could have been the one from Laugar. I am not quite sure, but holmen1 rated this one, so... Weak roasted aroma. Black colour. Stable light brown head. The flavour is roasted with a mild vanilla note. Spicy coconut flavour. Perhaps a little smoke in the finish. 838319

Dag 2 i Lokomotivværkstedet maj-19, fra fad. Nesten helt sort med godt skum der varer. Kokos, mørke chkolader, kakao, vanilje, espresso, samt en tonkabønne eller to (?). Så velbalancered - heftig, begeistret og begeistrende.
