Vuur & Vlam is an overly hopped beer. Yet, it's not aggressive in it's bitterness or too grassy from the hops. We mainly retrieve the fruit and floral aromas from the hops. Giving it a huge hop character with the nasty bitterness. Flavor indication: citrus, floral, light grassy. Translates as Fire & Flames

330ml bottle from Beer Hawk - Slightly cloudy orange body with a white head. Aroma is citrus and fruity with floral notes and plenty of hops. Taste is also hoppy with fruit and spices leading to a solid bitter finish. Beautifully soft in the mouth. Lovely IPA.

Bottle, 0.33l. Hazy orange amber color with small creamy off-white head and good lacing. Aroma grapefruit, passion fruit, pine and toasted malt. ,of toasted malt. Taste starts with moderate sweet malt, follows refreshing fruity, excellently balanced with crisp mouthfeel and moderate bitter finish. Full body, creamy texture and lively carbonation in palate. Will never forget that a woman can buy you such great beer, thanks Saska!

0,33L bottle, bottled on 15.07.13. Pours hazy golden with almost no head. Aroma is pine, citrus, caramel. Flavor: pine, caramel, grapefruit, vegetables. Finish is long grapefruit bitter. Overall: I don’t really enjoy this one. Surprisingly watery and light for the ABV, I also get some (not very nice) lagery feeling.

330 ml bottle at home for a Christmas Eve treat. Pours deep yellow with a lot of creamy head. Aromas of citrus, banana, butter and soap. Extreme bitterness in the initial taste, decreasing only little through the taste profile. Balanced finish, bitter aftertaste. Medium bubbly palette. This grew on me throughout the bottle, although there are IPAs I like more. This one almost had a lagery feel which was jarring. Also way overboard on the bittering hop. Still lovely though all in all.
