Vuur & Vlam is an overly hopped beer. Yet, it's not aggressive in it's bitterness or too grassy from the hops. We mainly retrieve the fruit and floral aromas from the hops. Giving it a huge hop character with the nasty bitterness. Flavor indication: citrus, floral, light grassy. Translates as Fire & Flames

330ml bottle from Hemelvaart Bier Cafe, Bedale. Orangey golden amber colour, white foam head leaving lots of lacing and aroma of tropical fruit, citrus, hoppy. Taste is malt caramel, with fruity orange and grapefruit hop resin bitterness. Smooth slightly oily mouthfeel, medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry bitter finish. Very drinkable IPA.

Bottle from Craft Brew & Co. Translucent yellow orange pour. Aroma is like Mikkeller-type IPAs, that "rounder" maltier smell, like hoppy Apple candy. Taste is same - apple juice hops malty sweetness. Mostly sweet finish. Carbonation cuts the heavier sweetness. Solid IPA.

Huge foam. Orange-golden color. Intensely fruity smell of pines, grapefruits, passion fruits. Not too bitter, but solid taste. A bit of caramel malt body present as well. Smooth mouthfeel. Light body, but the malt body does not disappear entirely. Great!

0,33 l bottle (almost a year old). Orange-golden colour. Hazy liquid with big white to off-tan, frothy head. Intense aroma of passion fruit, mango, lemon and orange. Taste is medium bitter. Thin to medium body, low carbonation, crisp bitter finish. Unusual bottom-fermented IPA ("I.P.A.-ish") with lovely fruity aroma. Good one!

Pours a slightly hazy coppery color, topped with decent tan colored head. The pleasant aroma of citrusy malts dominates the nose, together with some spices in the back. The taste is spicy and with extra strong hoppy taste. Very bitter and filling.
