Vuur & Vlam is an overly hopped beer. Yet, it's not aggressive in it's bitterness or too grassy from the hops. We mainly retrieve the fruit and floral aromas from the hops. Giving it a huge hop character with the nasty bitterness. Flavor indication: citrus, floral, light grassy. Translates as Fire & Flames

0,33 l Bottle, Pours with a orange / dark golden color and an amazing, fat tan head with large bubbles. The head is long lasting and even longer on this ’IPA glassware’ ... The nose ist tropical fruits: mango, passionfruit, some slightly strawberries and very nice hops. Taste is wonderfull balanced hoppy-bitterness and fruits. There is less fruit than in the nose. Finish some nice orange and grapefruit peels. Very good job!

Bottle from Pivoteka. Really bizarre I haven’t tried this before. Misty old gold body, white head. Creamy aroma, notes of orange. Soft, sweetish yet hoppy orange gummi-bear taste ending herbal, going to a nice medium bitterness that continues on to a long bitter aftertaste. It’s obvious why this is so popular, it’s a really well crafted and yet not "classic" IPA. It pulls of flavors that a lot of overly sweet, overly malty IPAs try to do and fail, while keeping things interesting and genuinely pleasant.

Bottle. Six weeks after bottling. Cloudy orange with a touch of gold. Beautiful thick fluffy head with great lacing. Aroma of mangos, grapefruit, resin and pine. Taste follows aroma plus some biscuits. Long lasting bitter finish. Nice malty backbone. Medium to strong carbonation. Creamy mouthfeel. A very fine IPA.

Aug. ’16. A 0.33 l bottle. It poured a hazy darker orange body with a huge yellow hued head. Wonderful strong aroma of tropical fruits, along with citrus hops and herbs. Flavor was bitter but not aggressive, crisp, persistent citrus bitterness was balanced with beautiful, elegant biscuit malt. It also showed light spices, pepper or ginger as a byproduct of carbonation play. Relatively full in body for the style, with a long fresh finish where citrus hops lasted the most turning eventually into grassy note. What to say, an awesome IPA, classy, a definition for whole craft trend and definitely the best rendition of this style I’ve ever tried.
