Vuur & Vlam is an overly hopped beer. Yet, it's not aggressive in it's bitterness or too grassy from the hops. We mainly retrieve the fruit and floral aromas from the hops. Giving it a huge hop character with the nasty bitterness. Flavor indication: citrus, floral, light grassy. Translates as Fire & Flames

Draught @ Wishbeer. Hazy dark orange with sizeable foamy off-white head, floral hops aroma, low carbonation, lightly bitter hoppy taste with orange and mango, very smooth body, long floral finish. Deliciously smooth, tasty and flavorful, a masterpiece.

0,33 l bottle. Pours clear golden amber with a finger of off white head. Aroma is very hoppy, full of citrus, slightly floral, piney and spicy, but also full of caramel malt scent. It’s medium sweet, with medium body and average to lively carbonation. Finish is long and bitter, rather harsh, but pleasant.

Bottle. Color: Hazy orange golden. White head. Taste: Hoppy, pretty bitter, tropical fruits. Rather complex for an IPA. Long bitter and fruity finish. Very nice beer.

One of De Molen’s more classic beers, an American style IPA with lightly lacing, moussy, snow white head and hazy orange blonde robe. Aroma of mango, biscuit, orange peel, grapefruit flesh, bitter honey, wry grape peel, lychee. Crisp onset, dried mango and redcurrant hints, minerally accent, citrus freshness early on and evolving into a lush, aromatic hop character, citrusy and ’tropically’ floral, softly but persistently and in the end slightly tonic water-like bittering over a rounded, biscuity malt sweetness. Rich, very dry and very long in development, this is an exemplary IPA.

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ Em-Té, Culemborg. Hazy amber with a white head. Tropical fruit aroma. Nice bitterness and continuing hop presence make this brew an enjoyable one.
