Vuur & Vlam is an overly hopped beer. Yet, it's not aggressive in it's bitterness or too grassy from the hops. We mainly retrieve the fruit and floral aromas from the hops. Giving it a huge hop character with the nasty bitterness. Flavor indication: citrus, floral, light grassy. Translates as Fire & Flames

Bottle from Tanakaya. Big amarillo and citra nose with some light pine resin and orange zest. Average carbonation with a medium light body. Very refreshing and juicy on the palate. Lots of orange juice-like notes as well. Finish is dry with some earthiness. Really quaffable.

Ambar oscura, turbia algo sucia, con bonita espuma muy cremosa y muy duradera. Aroma a lúpulo, notas cítricas.

Backlog from 2015/04/14.

330 ml bottle, bottled 16/09/15, from BeerLovers, Vienna.
Dark amber, hazy body, with a medium, fluffy, moderately lacing, off-white head.
Aroma of grapefruit, mango, passion fruit, pine resin, caramel.
Taste follows pretty much.
Medium, a bit creamy mouthfeel, with an average carbonation.
Finishes bitter, medium dry, piney, zesty, resinous, citric, a bit malty.

Really tasty. Clean, very crisp and greatly balanced, with just enough malt body. Lovely tropical fruits, but also nice grapefruit and pine notes. Perfect, classic example of an American IPA.

Bottle at home. Pours a hazy dark orange color with a beige head. Fruity and hoppy aroma of grapefruit, mango, pine, basil and some mowed grass. The flavor has more grassy hops, pine, sap, leather and grapefruit. Has a slick and soft mouth feel, medium body and a medium bitterness. A fruity and decent IPA.
