Vuur & Vlam is an overly hopped beer. Yet, it's not aggressive in it's bitterness or too grassy from the hops. We mainly retrieve the fruit and floral aromas from the hops. Giving it a huge hop character with the nasty bitterness. Flavor indication: citrus, floral, light grassy. Translates as Fire & Flames

Caña en Cimmeria el 26-09-2015. (r737).

Bottle at home. Almost clear amber with thick creamy off white head. Looks nice. Sweet malts and stone fruits up front with some syrup and light resin. Orange and soft lime juice, without any harsh notes at all, juist fruity and slightly dank. Some grassy herbs towards the finish. Quite sweet with light bitter finish. Medium bodied with slick feel. Maybe a little too sweet, but very nice beer.

0.33 l bottle from Za popen’t, Ljubljana, Slovenia. Opaque dark orange to brown with big frothy off-white head. Tangerine all over the place. Fruity and flowery, heavy hopped, intense flower and citrus aroma. No heavy bitterness in the taste, rather a pleasant and balanced sweetness, orange with herbal finish. Full taste, medium carbonation. Lively and crisp. Maybe the best IPA I’ve tried so far. 0.33 l bottle from Pivoteka, Zagreb. Murky orange, medium off-white head. Medium to heavily hopped, citrus & herbal, heavy dusty. Bitter, citrus flavored. Medium body, medium carbonation, very dry, astringent hoppy finish. A bit of an anticlimax, considering a situation when I first had it.

Tap at Le Senk. Aroma mostly fruity, exotic, resiny hops. Rather subtle, soft IPA, but the bitterness is decent and balance very good. Clear amber colour. Stable head. Very easily drinkable. Hops profile is tasty, fruity, resiny, finish grassy. Very good sessionable beer.

From 33cl bottle bought for NOK 250 at Søstrene Karlsen bar & kjøkken. Golden. Off-white head. Not much lacing. Aroma of tropical fruits, pears and green apples. Fine and balanced taste of tropical fruits and citrus. Unfortunately still with a hint of green apples. Seriously overpriced.
