Bottle, thanks to Rune. An unclear amber colored beer topped by a dense, off-white head of fingerthick size. Nice lacings The aroma is on the malty side, with toffee, caramel, nuts and some dried fruits. Caramel, toffee, nuts and a subtle bitterness in the flavor. Full to medium body and a soft and pleasant carbonation level. Semi-dry. Long caramel finish. Nuts and toffee, some dried fruits. Quite nice this one, but I guess it needs some food to shine. 150724

A bit unclear and fine amber color with an off white head. Bready, toffee, mild grassy and a bit fruity aroma. Ok body. Average carbonation and an ok balance between sweetness and bitterness. Bready, mild fruity, toffee and mild citric hoppy flavor. Dry hopped with Amarillo? Ehhh where did they go?

Amber Ale #100

Flaske 500ml fra Eide Handel. Gusjebrun. Veldig uklar. Nesten ikke skum. Forsiktig aroma av malt. Lite kullsyre. Smaken svakt søtlig malt som får mer og mer preg av karamell. Virket litt uferdig.

500ml bottle beer gift from Eivind Arne. Firm, off-white lacing-head mostly remaining over a cloudy apricot coloured body. Muddy last pour. Grass and grainy malts on the nose. Mixed taste of grass, wheat, and caramel followed by Belgian yeasty fruitiness to the ending. Mid-dry and thin to medium bodied. Alright, but disappointing (Tromsø 15.11.2014).
