Our twist on the India Pale Lager is a hazy oat-heavy grist, fermented with Simonaitis, a Lithuanian farmhouse yeast long hidden from the western-brewing world, but rumoured to give gentle notes of guava, fresh oranges, dried apricots and freshly-cut grass. Lagered for a full two months for a long dry finish.

Sample courtesy of Grumbo from Keg at the 11th Elysian Winter Beer Festival fringe venue 3at3. Many thanks Graham! Hazy golden colour, afew bubbles on top and aroma of citrus, stone fruits, fruity, hoppy. Taste is pale malt, grain, zesty, floral, fruity with apricot, peach, citrus, pine, some yeasty notes and grassy bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry fruity bitter finish. Quite drinkable.
