FLARE is a gently sparkling bittersweet and bittersharp blend featuring Chisel Jersey. A sweeter cider balanced with acidity and subtle tannins.

Bottle thanks to Ashton McCobb. Pours clear yellow gold with a thin white head. Aromas of apples. Taste is more of the same. Pretty standard cider to me.

On tap at The Famous Royal Navy Volunteer, Bristol. Clear golden, no head. Fruity, sweet apples, some acidity. Flat carbonation. Bit too sweet for my taste. Light to medium bodied.

9/1/2020. Cask at Williams Ale & Cider House, London E1. Pour golden with a very small short lasting bubbly white head. Aroma of sweet apples, caramel, funky notes, flowers, vanilla and a touch of leather. Medium plus sweetness and a very light tart edge. Moderate body, slight oily texture, soft to flat carbonation.

330ml bottle from Beer Zoo. Golden colour, white foam head that dissipates to a thin rim and aroma of tangy apple, light funk, leathery, earthy. Taste is sweetish, fruity apple, some light funk, acidity and mellow tannins. Medium bodied, light carbonation, semi-dry finish. Nicely drinkable.
