Dobry bitter o miedzianym kolorze. Nisko wysycone co dzieki temu jest to pijalne piwo. Piana jak na bittera spora i nawet utrzymuje sie sporo czasu. Piwo wytrawne a finisz zdecydowanie gozki.

500ml bottle from Beer Hawk - Ruby red body, white frothy head. Nose is heavy on the malt, some yeastiness there, think brown bread, sweet dough. Taste has a relative sweetness to it, in a dark sugar kind of way, with a bitterness at the end. Not bad, but the palate leaves me thinking something’s missing. Substance.

Cask at the Cleveland Arms, London. Pours clear, amber-gold with a fine, frothy white head. Aroma holds brown bread, light brown sugar and light caramel. Lovely flavor, lightly sweet, with some dry and toasty brown sugar, rich brown bread, subtle caramel sweetness, mild leafy and earthy bitterness. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Near perfect condition. Very clean finish, toasty brown bread, modest hints of cocoa and brown sugar, dry leafy bitterness. Stupidly drinkable. Superlative ESB. For this style of beer, it really doesn’t get much better.

Cask @ The Wharf, Aalborg, Denmark
Pours clear brown with a small off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, some sort of berries and floral hops. Taste is meidum sweet, light bitter with a hint of sourness. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is flat to soft.

Cask at the Wharf. A clear, dark amber beer with a thin layer of off-white bubbles. The aroma has some lightly oxidized and almost sourish notes, as well as dried fruits and some hoppy scents. The flavor is pretty much the same, guess this one’s not in top form. Ok bitterness towards the end. Medium body. Not a favorite of mine. 120624
