Made in Dublin, Ireland at St. James's Gate, Guinness™ Nitro IPA is brewed with Irish barley malt, a touch of roasted barley and five hop varieties — Admiral, Celeia, Topaz, Challenger and Cascade. The Challenger, Cascade and Topaz hops are dry-hopped to accentuate a sharp citrus aroma. The beer's blend of CO2 and Nitrogen helps to balance out the profusion of hop flavors, while also creating the signature surge and settle made famous by Guinness™ Draught. The IPA is brewed with the same unique Guinness yeast strain used to ferment all stouts at St. James's Gate.

clear reddish amber colour, one inch of dense slightléy beige-ish head; aroma and taste of a typical English-style IPA with fruity and floral notes; thanks to the nitro ball in the can it is very smooth...though I'm not sure that it is a real pro in case of an IPA...

440ml can from Intermarche on hike in Eygalières. Aroma is damp old hops and old produce, dirty sock. Taste is muddled light bitterness and wet tree. Palate is smooth from nitro but has effect of making it seem uncarbonated. Really unfortunate.

Half pint on tap at Beer Station, Madrid. It pours clean, copper to amber, with a thick, dense, creamy ivory head. Beautiful. Mild aroma is honey, peach, orange blossom, bitter herbs. Medium-bodied, almost no carb, soft, fresh and rather bitterish. Meidium to long-lasting finish with a tinge of coffee. Nice, don't know why the low score (is it because of its belonging to a commercial big firm?)

Canned 440ml. -from Geant Albertville. Dark golden coloured, medium sized creamy white head, sweetish grainy nose. Sweet malty, herbal, grainy and grassy with touch of caramel and bitter/sweet finish. Smooth and silky but ipa simply don't fit with nitro.
