Made in Dublin, Ireland at St. James's Gate, Guinness™ Nitro IPA is brewed with Irish barley malt, a touch of roasted barley and five hop varieties — Admiral, Celeia, Topaz, Challenger and Cascade. The Challenger, Cascade and Topaz hops are dry-hopped to accentuate a sharp citrus aroma. The beer's blend of CO2 and Nitrogen helps to balance out the profusion of hop flavors, while also creating the signature surge and settle made famous by Guinness™ Draught. The IPA is brewed with the same unique Guinness yeast strain used to ferment all stouts at St. James's Gate.

Blik 44cl thuis. 5,3%. Afwisselend zoeten en bitters, de typische Guinness schuimkraag, wat caramel, hoppen weinig uitgebalanceerd. Niet zo spannend. Wat dun. (1-4-2018).

Can. Hazy dark amber color with super creamy white head. Aroma is toffee, berries, not really hoppy. Taste is toffee, buttery, sweet. Velvety mouthfeel with fine carbonation. Doesn't work out very well.

Can @ home. Looks absolutely stunning the way the oh so creamy off white head forms is a thing of beauty. Makes me want to take a bite in it. Smells malty, some light hoppyness. Tastes sweet, malty, slightly bitter, a bit watery. Slightly boring. Perfect for chugging I guess since there's hardly any carbo. Thin body. As an IPA I don't like it.

450ml can from Bliznetsy in Moscow. Pours clear dark amber with a small beige head, seems to have been somewhat muted due to the can being damaged and not opening properly. Aroma is oranges, malt, floral, bread, yeast. Smells like a hefeweizen! Completely flat. Taste is slightly hoppy, citrus, light bitterness. Weird, but pretty drinkable.

Can at home just grabbed from super market been thinking about Ireland lately. Pours at first rich coffee milk looking (RI reference). The foam dissipates and looks normal amber ale. Nose is faint malt. More like a mild than and ipa, creamy English ale smooth. Light testing but pleasant enough.

Not bad for an Amber Nitro generally I prefer only darker Nitros however this has nothing whatsoever to do with an IPA. Guinness has a lot of problems and they have a good brewmaster so I don’t know why they decide to create trouble for themselves evidently they have some sort of suicidal bent.

330ml can from a 4-pack from Morrison’s - Copper colour, tight white lacing head. Aroma is fruity, floral, some wooden and earthy notes as well. Flavour is wooden, caramelly, some toffee, mild bitterness and floral notes as well. Quite creamy palate. Nitros are not usually my cup of tea, but enjoyed this one.

Very beautiful orange red beer with medium and stable, long lasting foam. Aroma has some berries, but it is very mild, however. Taste has nothing but water. Very bad.

Draught @ public corner, Vasa. Poured mahogany color with a thin white head. Toffee, caramel, fudgy malty aroma. Flavor has toffee, malt, dark fruits. Heavy to drink, quite boring.
