One of the two 2019 limited editions Mc InMemries - the base beer for this Barley Wine is brewed with ±4% whisky malt & bourbon Vanilla (not on a bourbon barrel !) and aged on a whisky barrel.
This version was aged on an Bunnahabhain barrel (not infused)
Warning ; this is a low carbonation
The Bunnahabhain version has a more closed and solid body with aroma's of vanilla and touches of caramel finished by a slight briny touch in the background...rounded off with a nice whisky flavour,
Still a bit sweet as the beer is young and the bottling sugar has not been transformed into Alcohol & CO2 yet, as it ages the beer becomes less sweet and becomes more carbonated. (we do not carbonate under pressure).
