Seit 2010 tüftelt DEGENBIER an einer speziellen Pale Ale Rezeptur. Im April 2011 wurde KOBRA zum Schweizer Bier des Jahres gewählt und im September 2019 mit dem Swiss Beer Award ausgezeichnet. Durch den traditionellen Brauprozess in Kombination mit neuen Brautechniken und viel Zeit, entsteht ein aussergewöhnliches Pale Ale für den Alltag.

A tasty pale ale simple and classical, light and aromatic with a side of pine tree and citrus, rather dry, dry malt, light copper color, 07.06.19, from Wittisch, Olten, trying at Epalinges, on the balcony.

hazy pale yellow colour, moderate sized dense white head; aroma of grassy, lemongrassy, green tea leaves, some unripe fruity, litchi and wheaty notes; taste of hoppy bitterness and the same notes as can be felt in the aroma; good one

Leicht eingetrübte goldene Farbe mit weißer Schaumkrone. Hopfiger, fruchtiger, leicht malziger Geruch. Geschmacklich hopfig, fruchtig mit Citrus, leicht malzig. Leicht süß mit mittlerer Bitterkeit, mittlerer Körper mit spürbarer Kohlensäure.

Spelled with K on the cap; claiming 5% ABV Good yellowish head over clear metallic orange-copper beer. Nice impressive citrussy hops, straw, hopbales, grapefruit, lytchee, peach. Bitterish, citrussy, very dry, again fruity - peach. Light body, but with some slickness. Good APA.

Bottle from Drinks of the World. Pours golden yellow. Surprisingly floral and grassy aroms, hoppy taste. A good beer indeed.
