Bottled, from Gulating, Loddefjord. Clear deep golden, rich head. Hay and grapefruit up front. Mid dry with medium body and rounded, spritzy mouthfeel. Fruity and bready with hay, citrus and twist. Long bitter finish. Quite British.

0.33l green bottle. Oh, this smells bad. A grainy nightmare filled with paper and dust. Smells like a pilsner that has been standing way too long in direct sunlight. See now that the bottle says BF 28.10.2015 - that's two months from now. In the glass it's a crystal clear deeper golden colored one with a small quilt islandy just off-white head. It tastes fortunately a tad better than what it smells, but this is some pretty bad stuff honestly. It has a mild malt and biscuit sweetness. Not a great amount of flavors really and it's lacking quite a bit on the hops as well. No thanks, won't finish the bottle. Try again. 22.08.2015

Poured from a bottle. Aroma is odd and not at all like an IPA. Some moderate cracker and pilsner malt notes. Light sulfur and some weird floral and fruit esters. I don’t really smell any hops. Pours a clear, golden orange with a medium sized, moderately thick, white head that shows pretty decent retention as it recedes to the edges where it hangs on in clumps. Medium light lacing and small legs. Flavor is moderately sweet with some cracker, bready grain, and honey notes. Some light caramel also present. Medium light bitterness. Lingering sweetness. Faint, very faint, floral hop notes with perhaps a touch of citrus. Mouthfeel is medium bodied and crisp with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. The mouthfeel may be the best thing going for this beer. Overall, there is nothing about this beer that qualifies as an IPA except for the appearance. Lots of crisp malt notes with some light bitterness and pretty much no hop character. Some off notes in the aroma, but the flavor is alright I guess.

Dark golden with a whit head - Malt and hops in the aroma - Malt body to support a hop flavour that has some bitterness in the end - The¨malt and hops goes into the finish - This was ok
