Green bottle. Normally not good aroma. Skunky as usual. Never use green bottles. Some lemon also in the aroma. Not very inviting. Golden color with a small white head. Medium body. Moderate sweet and moderate bitter. Average carbonation. Grainy and lemon-ish flavor. Mehhh as The Butcher says. I am not going to drink this again.

Bottle. A clear, golden beer with a small, white head. The aroma is rather malty, with some bready notes. Resins, some citrus peel and a touch of grass and pepper too. The flavor is perhaps a bit unbalanced, on the bitter side, but on the other hand I find it too malty. Resiny, grapefruity hops with some grass and pepper hints. Lasting finish. A quite nice one, but too malty for my likings, and a tad unbalanced. 150228

Runder, nicht überragend intensiv hopfiger Antrunk. Trockene Herbe, die nicht ausgeglichen wird. Insgesamt rund, ok. 10/9/8/8/9/8

Lys brun klar med lavt hvitt skum. Fersken, karamell og noe sydhavsfrukt. Lite smak i denne, lett sitrusbitterhet. Kort.

33cl bottle from Gulating Ølutsalg, Strømmen. Pours clear golden with a rather small, white head. Herbal, grassy and grainy aroma with weak fruity and floral notes. American IPA? It says so on the back of the bottle. Well, not quite what I expected yet again, somewhat hoppy, yes, but still reminds me more of a hoppy lager or pilsner than a pale ale. Moderate to medium sweet with modest hoppy and grainy flavours and mild, but fairly nice bitterness.I have no idea where this is brewed, but have to say I am a bit confused - it says on the label that it’s an American IPA brewed in England. Well, fairly drinkable, but still more puzzled and curious about this than impressed. --- Beer merged from original tick of Inland on 10 Dec 2014 at 18:44 - Score: 5
