Naturalist is a New England-style IPA.

Using our house yeast that specialises in stone fruit esters, this beer’s got big thick body and tropical vibe top notes.

Azacca hops in the whirlpool and a huge Bru-1, Ekuanot and Sabro combo in the dry hop give it a fruity swagger.

Goes well with thick trunks and deep roots.

Good, fluffy, light-yellow head over pale orangejuice-like beer, fully cloudy. Intense nose of fruity esters, asafoetida and garden herbs. Also piney resins, pinecones aroma. Asafoetida, lightly cheesy, fine herbs & weeds, and indeed again pine and resin, dry. Really dry MF, hopoil dominated. Medium bodied, quite slick. Quite good. I like resiny IPA's.

From a 440ml can on 13/1/2021. Pours a slightly hazy light golden with a small head. The nose features quite of bit of citrus with some light honeyed notes. The flavour features some peach, a bit of lemon and a touch of honey, finishing with a fairly gentle citric bitterness. The mouthfeel is a touch slick, the carbonation moderate. A very solid, well made and enjoyable NEIPA.

440ml can from Vinmonopolet Sortland, many thansk to Esben, Frida and Mari. Shared with Finn. A huge white head slowly diminishing over an unclear yellowish body, crocheted lacing. Moderate aromas of lemon and pale malts. Ripe lemony taste character supported by herbal hops and bread-like malts. Ends fruity with drying bitterness. Pretty okay. (Tromsø 19.11.2020).

Smell-weak, fruity, hops, faint orange. Foam-thin, hops, weak hops, bit fruity, acidic, some citrus. Head is small, white color, does away fast. Appearance - somewhat simple can, textured, no bonus this time. Hazy, yellow color, no carbonation. From - snifter Taste - fruity, hops, very neutral. Sweet, caramel, orange, citrus, fruits. generally quite good and very neutral HAZY one. I am not blown off, however. But given its neutrality and somewhat nice label.. sure you get a bonus so we can round it up :D
