Can @ Mikkeller & Friends. Pours hazy yellow with a white head. Aroma of malt, yeast, saison yeast, light herbal, hay. Flavor is sweet, malt, yeasty, hay, flowers, light fruit. Medium body, average carbonation, light sweet finish. 110517

Not really a saison fan, but as saisons go, this isn’t so bad. Pours a very hazy, dirty yellow, with smallish head. Spicy aroma (from the yeast?), with some fruit and hop notes. Flavor is fairly close to a whitbeer, but has the chemical taste I associate with saisons and brett-yeast. Some basement dankness and fruitiness. Pretty dry finish. I wouldn’t mind another.

Can. Hop City Festival. Very hazy, straw colour. Foamy, bright white head. Nose has spicy, floral hop. Bubblegum esters. Not a deal else, really. Hint of lemon. Taste is sweet and estery. Light dryness. Hint of hop bitterness. Soft and foamy mouthfeel. Spicy hop bitterness to finish.

From tap at the brewpub. Pours hazy to cloudy yellow with a thick, creamy and white head. Aroma is mild spiced, peppery and dry herba. Bitter. Yeasty, phenolic and dry hoppy. Ends bitter and spiced.
