The esteemed explorer Van Vuuren is an integral part of the Amundsen team. So much so, that we named this beer after his parrot. The intrepid explorer found the recipe for Lorita in a glass bottle along the coast of the Summer Isles. it was said to be a recipe for happiness. The Amundsen team recreated it as best as we could using passion fruit, the rare and esteemed Azacca hop and malted barley. The result is a fruity beer with tropical, refreshing character. We recommend pairing Lorita with a journey on a raft in the South Seas.

MALT: Pilsner

Rica y refrescante.

440ml can [courtesy of Claudius - thanks!]. Slightly cloudy, yellow-ish, golden colour with average to huge, frothy, slowly osteoporosing, minimally lacing, white head. Fruity hoppy aroma, rather neutral, pale malty background, minimally artificial notes of passion fruit and peach. Taste is dry, slightly fruity hoppy, rather neutral, pale malty basis with a mineral touch, diluted hints of passion fruit and peach with a minimally artificial touch. Watery texture, slightly dry palate, medium to coarse, mildly prickly carbonation. Quite watery, quite restrained flavours, minimally artificial - not really convincing.

Can 44 cl. Pours an almost clear, pale yellow with a white head. Faint citrusy nose. Light body, dry fruitiness and a rather bitter finish. But simply lacking aromatic hops. This is simply cheapskating it. 030523
