The esteemed explorer Van Vuuren is an integral part of the Amundsen team. So much so, that we named this beer after his parrot. The intrepid explorer found the recipe for Lorita in a glass bottle along the coast of the Summer Isles. it was said to be a recipe for happiness. The Amundsen team recreated it as best as we could using passion fruit, the rare and esteemed Azacca hop and malted barley. The result is a fruity beer with tropical, refreshing character. We recommend pairing Lorita with a journey on a raft in the South Seas.

MALT: Pilsner
HOPS: Cascade, Azacca

Can on 17th April 2020 from Marks & Spencer, Camden Town. Pours a hazy gold with shallow white foam and spot lacing. Zesty aroma packed with tropical fruits. Citrus fruits and peel in-mouth with plenty of passion fruit and peach. Juicy fruity finish. Medium bodied with a zingy mouthfeel. Superb.

Can. Cloudy golden coloured beer with strong white head. The aroma is well hopped with citrusness, and the flavour is hopped with a long dry and slightly caramel finish. Overall a nice IPA.

Backlog review. Blonde beer, with a small white foam. Sold as a Pale ale with passion fruit. Mild bitterness and restrained hoppyness, but passionfruit is rather hidden, would have liked that to be shown a bit more. Decent all together, but not what i had hoped for.

Can on the train home, the mighty 12, picked up from M&S Marylebone 28/02/19. Clear golden blonde with a decent white covering (is the guess of this Bois). Nose is passionfruit, grass, airy malts, nectarine, melon, lychee. Taste comprises citric pith, freshly cut grass, melon, peach, hint of pine, leafy notes. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close splashed with balanced grassy to juicy hop bitterness. Decent pale affair.
