The esteemed explorer Van Vuuren is an integral part of the Amundsen team. So much so, that we named this beer after his parrot. The intrepid explorer found the recipe for Lorita in a glass bottle along the coast of the Summer Isles. it was said to be a recipe for happiness. The Amundsen team recreated it as best as we could using passion fruit, the rare and esteemed Azacca hop and malted barley. The result is a fruity beer with tropical, refreshing character. We recommend pairing Lorita with a journey on a raft in the South Seas.

MALT: Pilsner
HOPS: Cascade, Azacca

Can from Marks & Spencer, Manchester Victoria Station. Hazy golden-blonde with a small head. Fruity ale with light citrus that gets more hoppy in its nose.

Can at home in Hackney - picked up at M&S Canary Wharf. Pours clear yellow-gold with a frothy white head. Nice and juicy, plenty of papaya and passionfruit, melon, peach, light pale bread and lemon rind. Light bodied with average carbonation iron. Peachy finish, mild tangerine, pale bread, soft rindy bitterness. Tidy little beer. Nice juice.

Can from M&S, Brooklands. Sweet and juicy aroma. Opaque pale orange. Frothy translucent white head soon fades. Medium bitter. A citrus tang and more quinine-esque hops into the finish. Thin. Light. The carbonation is almost an afterthought. Dry finish Drinkable refrshing stuff. The passion fruit is there but not pushing the envelope.

33cl wide-rim can from M&S Bracknell. A hazy pale amber pour with a loose white head; passion fruit aroma; dry in the mouth with a passion fruit taste and a grainy body; but lacking finish.

33cl can with a pull off top ringpull bought from M&S in Ashford and drunk at home. Hazy gold colour lasting white head. Smooth in mouth. Yes fresh passionfruit. Not too sweet. Rather a likeable easy drinking IPA. A little dank passionfruit, but good. I liked it a lot good fruit good bitterness good balance of pale malt and hops.
