The esteemed explorer Van Vuuren is an integral part of the Amundsen team. So much so, that we named this beer after his parrot. The intrepid explorer found the recipe for Lorita in a glass bottle along the coast of the Summer Isles. it was said to be a recipe for happiness. The Amundsen team recreated it as best as we could using passion fruit, the rare and esteemed Azacca hop and malted barley. The result is a fruity beer with tropical, refreshing character. We recommend pairing Lorita with a journey on a raft in the South Seas.

Appearance- golden, light, a bit of haze, a small white head. Aroma- citrus fruit, hops, sherbet lemon, hint of caramel, grassy hops, Taste- sweet malt, more sherbet lemon, tart fruit, bitter hops towards the finish. A bit unbalanced.

Can from Honest Beer. Hay pale yellow golden colour with a thin white head. Lots for tropical fruit aroma with light citrus. Taste light sweet. Slight thin body, with medium carbonation.

330ml can. Hazy orange with a small dissipating head. Big passionfruit aroma, grainy malt. Taste of passionfruit, grainy malts, slightly tart. Light body, soft carb. Ok.

Tap @ Fermentoren Aarhus, 4.7%. Slightly hazy yellow with small white head. Aroma is malt, fruit, hat, little pineapple and a little passionfruit. Flavour is malt, fruit, hop, little sweet, little passionfruit, little citric and a little bitter.

Can at home. Hazy dark golden with white head. Sour grain, wet hay, plasticcy, passionfruit. Moderate sweet and quite bitter, tart fruity edges, light sour. Flimsy watery body and soft carbonation. Can. Pours greenish cloudy pale yellow. Aroma is soapy, floral, citric, butter. Body is light, softly sour and acidic, with a strong lively carbonation. Thin, but low flavours of soap and lemon. Refreshing and dry. Over carbonated, actually. Not bad.

Can 330ml. @ home. [ As Amundsen Lorita ].Unclear medium golden - matt yellow colour with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, moderate hoppy, passion fruit, dusty, fruity hops. Flavor is moderate sweet, light light acidic and moderate bitter with a average to long duration, sweet passion fruit, sweet malt, fruity malt - fruity yeast, light tart, dough notes.
