The esteemed explorer Van Vuuren is an integral part of the Amundsen team. So much so, that we named this beer after his parrot. The intrepid explorer found the recipe for Lorita in a glass bottle along the coast of the Summer Isles. it was said to be a recipe for happiness. The Amundsen team recreated it as best as we could using passion fruit, the rare and esteemed Azacca hop and malted barley. The result is a fruity beer with tropical, refreshing character. We recommend pairing Lorita with a journey on a raft in the South Seas.

Can@The London Hotel tasting - Yellow pour with white head. Citrus fruity and grassy with some strange artificial sweetness, light watery body, not a fan.

33 cl bottle. Pours hazy yellow, small white head. Aroma is grassy and slight fruity hoppy. Passion fruity. Overripe fruity. Sweet and dense fruity finish.

330 ml can, probably from Helgø Meny Maxi, Sandnes. Very pale yellow colour, way overcarbonated, huge white head. Aroma of citrus and passionfruit, but more artificial than natural. Citrussy and slightly dry flavour, hints of passion fruit, piney hops in the finish. Not great.

Aroma sitrus, karamell, malt, humle. Utseende tåkete gul med lett hvitt skum. Smak sitrus, appelsin, humle, malt karamell. Lett fylde og god fruktighet, lang fruktig ettersmak, lett bitterhet. Boks på Abelone i Oslo. 33cl 4,7% ---

Draught @ Nordic, Tampere. Pours light golden color with a thin white head. Lychee and passionfruity aroma. Very fruity, sweet, hint of tartness. Refreshing

Boks fra Gulating Stavanger, delt med Ovesen etter endt brygging: lett uklar strågul med fint skum som varer. Bringebæraroma, lett kunstig, og smaken har i tillegg hint av stikkelsbær. For søt til å innfri helt, så jeg synes ikke den egner seg som session-øl.

Can shared with JMD at HNB 01.08.17. (Updated 16.06.18). Cloudy golden. White head and lacing. Aroma and taste of gooseberries, mango, lemon, lime, lychee, wine gum and mint. Very quaffable.
