Tap @ Borefts. Almost black. Malt, hint of roast and lots of balsamic vinegar in the aroma and flavor. Full bodied, sour, syrupy. Long finish. Good!

Draft - Balsamic notes, what els? Deep jet brown with a nice brown head. Balsamic and and underlying mouthfeel of the stout. Creamy, sour and balsamic. Odd, but I kinda dig it.

On tap at Borefts Beer Festival, 2016. Pours unclear brown, tan head. Malty, some fruity notes, wood. Sour, vinous, but mostly vinegarish, lasting acidity. Had bit of a trouble drinking it. Full bodied. I guess I don’t get thise vinegarish type of sour beers.

[9/23/16] Draught sample at Borefts Beer Festival 2016 in Bodegraven. Day one. Black. Aroma of chocolate, caramel, tons of balsamic vinegar, dark fruits. Acidic balsamic vinegar flavor with caramel, fruits, a bit of chocolate, some acidic burn in the throat. The acidic burn is annoying, but still decent in small quantities.

Black. No head. Aroma and flavour are of course dominated by Balsamic Vinegar. The thick , oily texture is strangely tempting but the tart aftertaste is really a shock.
