Tap at Salon piva. Quite intense. Rich character, actually showing all of the special ingredients. Hard to say if that is good or bad. Nevertheless the beer is great and complex, very tasty, very good.

Bottle from Beer Gonzo Webshop, Earlsdon, Coventry, consumed at home Saturday 31st March 2018 whilst cooking Classic French Beef Daube and helping Nick with the removal of the old boiler. Shared with Nicolai. Black in colour the head didn't really hang around for too long. Predictably rich, chocolatey, smooth and with vanilla, creamy. However I must confess to being a little underwhelmed by this, it's very ordinary for Omnipollo, I wasn't wowed. Ok.A6 A4 T6 P3 Ov12 3.1

(Keg at Sori Taproom, 20180331) The beer poured black. Its head was medium sized and lightly brown. Aroma had sweetness, liquorice and burnt malts. Palate was full bodied and sticky with medium carbonation. Flavours were sweetness, more sweetness, burnt malts, sweetness, liquorice, sweetness, ash and bitterness. Aftertaste was ashy, sweet and bitter. Sweetness did its best to hide the beer and unfortunately it succeeded.
