330ml bottle from Boxbeers. Pours pitch black with a small brown head. Aroma of roasty malts, salty chocolate, vanilla, hints of coffee and espresso. Taste is quite neutral, the slight saltness neutralizes the sweetness, hints of roastiness, chocolate, coffee and vanilla. Finish is salty and not that long lasting with hints of roastiness, warming alcohol and chocolate notes. A bit unbalanced.

Small to medium, relatively stable russet - tan head over black beer. Tobacco, coffee, chocolate, mocha, leather. Something mineral as well. Sugar, vanilla, dairy. Again tobacco and leather hints, and lots of chocolate, pralines . Strawberry/raspberry ganache, and somehow I get chili. Litteraly buttery feel, despite some good carbonation. Finish has a peppery heat. Chewy, viscous and alcoholheat. The notion "beer" gets a new dimension - or is it that it looses its significance? 8/4/7/4/15

330 ml bottle. Pours black with huge dark tan head. Aromas of powdery dark chocolate, dry black coffee, vanilla, dark sugars and slick roasted malts. Flavors or rich dark chocolate, lots of different dark sugars, creamy mocha and dusty roasted malts. Thought it might be a sweet mess, but it's actually quite dry and complex.

Schön röstig in der Nase, leicht angebrannt. Ebenso im Trunk, dazu Vanille, etwas Karamell, leichte Süße. Die Röstnoten ziehen sich bis in den Abgang. Gute Drinkability. Gutes Ding!
