Half-pint by keg, shared with Finn at Brewhouse & Kitchen in Horsham. Coal black body, film-type layer leaving spotty lacing on the glass. Promising roasted malty aromas with a cocoa scent. Blended taste of dried fruits and cocoa powder. Roasted, mid-sweet malty finish. Likable stout version. (07.02.2020).

20/3/2019. Draught at the Brewhouse & Kitchen, Horsham. Pours almost black with a mall beige coloured head. Aroma of chocolate, roasted malt, caramel, hint of coffee, liquorice and dark fruit. Moderate sweetness, medium roasted bitterness. Medium body, slight oily and watery texture, bit above average carbonation.
