Nach einer dunklen Interpretation eines IPA (India Dark Ale), einem leichten IPA (Session IPA) und einem quasi Double IPA (IPADIPA) komplettierte das Centennial Classic IPA unsere India Pale Ale-Reihe.
Nordamerikanisch klassisch gebraut mit 6.5% Vol. Golden-bernsteinfarben. Leichte Süsse und angenehme Bitterkeit schön ausgewogen. Angenehm markante Hopfenfruchtigkeit und -würzigkeit.
Centennial ist einer der Hopfenklassiker aus dem Nordwesten der USA und begeistert mit einem intensiven, aber feinfruchtigen Aroma passend zu unserer ausgewogenen IPA-Interpretation.

33cl bottle from Coop Supermarkt Basel Gundeli. Head is medium, white, average retention. Colour is amber, hazy. Aroma is grapefruit, roasted onion, orange, tropical fruits, pine. Taste is medium malty base, grapefruit, onion efect, pine resin, toast, prominent long lasting bitterness, medium carbonation, very good, fully enjoyed.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear amber with a roughish, off-white head. Biscuity nose from plenty of crystal malts. Medium body, sweet crystal malts, piney notes and a solid bitterness. Super old school Red IPA, but very well executed. 141124

opalescent orange colour, large, dense and quite long lasting ecru-ish head; aroma of marmalade, orange peel oils, pear, some peach and piney notes; well balanced bittersweet taste with the same notes as can be felt in the aroma; good one

Creamy white good fully lasting heqad. Yellow colour. Moderate malty and heavy hoppy aroma. Moderate bitter flavor. Average moderate bitter finish. Oily palate.

18.11.2017 - 0.33l bottle from basler feinmesse. pours a clear amber with a medium head. aroma of sprucy and fruity (papaya) hops, leaves, caramel. flavour of leaves, caramel. not too sweet, kind of a mix vienna lager/ipa. 07.10.2021 - a bottle from coop, bb 09.2021, still good
