Diese feinaromatische Bierspezialität entstand nach einem Rezept der Gebrüder Deinlein von 1898. In jener guten alten Zeit, in der Arbeit schwer, Bier dunkel und das Leben ein klein wenig langsamer war. Der dunkle Farbton mit einem zarten Schimmer rührt von verschiedenen Malzen und der traditionellen Herstellung her. Vollmundige Aromen, eine unterstreichende und dezente Bittere und ein vollmundiger Nachtrunk machen dieses Bier zu einem echten Erlebnis.

Tap at fränkisches Bierfest. Hazy Orange chestnut, offwhite lace. Fat fruity roast notes, chewy body, good balance of roast and herbal and grassy notes. Moreish.

Bottle 500ml. @ home on the terrace. [ As Hersbrucker Dampfsud ].[ Trade by Beerhunter111 ]. Clear medium to dark brown - red amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, bread, cookie, caramel, chocolate, sweet malt. Flavour is moderate to light heavy sweet and light to light light moderate bitter with a long duration, bread, cookie, sweet malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. Bottled@AIH40 (from bierzwerg.de). Deep amber colour, small white head. Aroma is sweet grains and malts along with some sweetish notes. Flavour is berries, some sweet malts and some mild earthy and grassy notes. Mild ryelike notes too.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein rötlich-braunes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch leicht röstmalzig, Karamell. Geschmack angenehm röstmalzig, würzig, trocken.

Malziger, leicht getreidiger Beginn. Im Anschluss steigt die Malzigkeit, insgesamt etwas würziger. Leicht schokladig, dann konstant bleibend. Zum Ende wieder milder, noch angenehm malzig. Süffiges Dunkles. 7/8/8/9/8/9

500ml bottle. Clear ruby red glowing brown colour with average, creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Dark malty aroma with a touch of milk chocolate, some grainy overtones. Taste is dry dark malty, minimally grassy hoppy overtones, cautious hints of chocolate. Not bad.
