[Cask at the Hope Tap (JDW), Reading.] A straw coloured pour with a dense cream coloured head; light summer berry aroma; dry in the mouth with biscuity malts and some strawberries, raspberries and cherries; then a dry finish with a light bitterness.

Pour is a clear tan with a large white head. Aroma is bready, earthy malt with a touch of hops. Flavor is pretty much like the aroma. An earthy malt with a spicy hop finish. A little watery in the end but this is probably what IPA tasted like 100 years ago.

500ml bottle from a local Morrisons, drank in my back garden on 16th July 2025. Clean and clear golden body, lasting white crown on top. Nice blend of malts and hops, really easy on the pallet and most enjoyable.

Loose white head left a froth on pale amber coloured body.
Sweet, malt & stone fruit aroma.
Medium bodied, smooth with a well carbonated back.
Malt, perfume, stone fruit & sweet tastes with a long bitter finish.
Nice drinker.
