Fløien IPA er en India Pale Ale av amerikansk type. Det er et kraftig aromatisk øl med en rik humleduft av sitrus, tropiske frukter og gran, balansert av et markert maltpreg. Navnet stammer fra et av de syv fjellene som omkranser Vestlandets hovedstad. Ølet er upasteurisert og ufiltrert, og bør serveres ved 7-9 grader i egnet glass.

Bottle 330ml. [ As 7 Fjell Fløien IPA ].Clear medium orange amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate hoppy, órange - citrus, fruity hops, hoppy. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, mandarin, orange, caramel, sweet malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20150227]

Bottle at Cardinal, Stavanger, 5th August 15. Pour clean, clear, sediment in bottom of bottle. Aroma is fairly floral, some pine. Taste is pine, slight resin, citrus. Pretty decent IPA.

On tap at UNA Bryggeri, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out piney hops and biscuity malt. Flavour is quite hoppy, with piney and resinous hops, and crackery malt. Well-balanced, more along the lines of a North American IPA. Good stuff.

Dark golden with a white head - Some hops in the aroma with hints of fruits - Malt body with some hops in there as well with tropical fruity notes - Malt and hops goes into the finish - This was nice

Bottle from trade with ClubGonzo, many thanks. Amber orange color with medium white head. Nice citrus hoppy aroma with oranges, grapefruit zest, pines. I can recognize Centennial hops. Nice hoppy bitter taste dominated by Centennial hops. Solid malty backbone. Long hoppy bitter finish. Tasty.

Bottle. Aroma quite traditional, lots of caramel, resiny fruity exotic hoppiness. Lightly hazy orange-amber colour. Taste has lots od caramel too. Could use less. Then fruity citrusy exotic hoppiness. Finishes hoppy bitter. Too much caramel in yhis one, but otherwise fine beer.

Bottled@fonefan. Goldeny orange colour, small white head. Aroma is fruity, mildly earthy with some nectar and mild grainy notes. Flavour is citrus, tropical fruits, mild earthy notes as well as a nice bitter finish to it.

Hell hopfiger, sehr würziger Antrunk. Konstante Hopfigkeit, die allerdings dunkler wird und einen Teil seiner frische einbüßt. Dennoch spritzig, ausbalanciert und vollmundig. 9/12/10/9/9/10

Inviting hazy dark golden color with a frothy off white head. Nice lacing sown the glass. A bit hop pellet aroma with some tropical fruity and malty notes. Medium (+) body. Moderate sweet and a rich nice bitterness. Average to soft carbonation. Rich nice flavor in this one. Strong grapefruit hoppy, mild tropical fruity, mild pine and malty like a Czech pilsner. Lovely tasty ipa.
