Palatable (Batch 5) is an imperial stout aged in spent maple syrup oak bourbon barrels for one year and was brewed in collaboration with our friends from Palate in Milford. It's smooth with chocolate fudge and sweet maple syrup flavors followed by a warming sensation from the barrel.
Admin Note: Batch #05 was aged in Maker’s Mark bourbon barrels that had maple syrup aging in it prior to Palatable beer aging.

Can from Drafting Table. Pours a pitch black with a finger of brown head that lingers. Lovely maple syrup, bourbon and dark chocolate aromas on the nose. Palate is similar with vanilla, oak, bourbon and lingering maple syrup notes. Drying finish with all of the notes harmonizing well together.
