[September 2023] Mahogany brown with a creamy tan head and some berry fruit on the nose. Smooth and creamy with roasted malt, hints of sweet chocolate and a touch of bitterness in the finish

Cask pint at the Pump House, JDW, Shirley, West Midlands. Poured a clear, dark brown, almost black colour, with an everlasting creamy, off-white head. The aroma is roasty malt and chocolate. The flavour is moderate sweet, with a smooth, rich, roasty, light liqourice, creamy, chocolate, lactose palate. Over medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Third by hand-pulled cask at GBBF Winter, Jewellers Bar. Shared with Finn. Off-white bubbly head leaving clingy lacing behind, ruby-black body. Nicely smoked malty aromas. Smoked malty flavours joined by a little bite of dried fruits. Finish with a smokey touch. Pleasant. (Birmingham 05.02.2020).

På GBBF Winter 2020 i Birmingham. Delt med Rune. Ultradyprød/svart. Filmskum med litt farge. Lett røykaroma. Smaken mest røyk - litt lakris. Nydelig lettrøkt avslutning. Denne på rundt 7% hadde vært knall.
