A truly seasonal ale. A robust base saison with big blackberry additions to create a big fruity farmhouse ale, enhanced with fresh UK Jester hops in cask to further enhance the dark fruit tones and fresh UK Godiva hops in keg, to bring out a subtle spiciness – both with a slight tartness to give it perfect balance.

[ As Almasty Blackberry Saison ].
ABV: 6.0%. Light unclear medium to light amber orange colour with a small, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, tart blackberry, funky - yeast, pale malt, caramel, sweet malt, yeast - wheat. Flavor is moderate sweet with a long duration, pale malt - caramel, sweet malt, blackberry, tart blackberry, wheat - yeast, light funk. Body is medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. Third, gravicask at GBBF Winter, 4.5 % abv. Shared with Finn. Unclear orange coloured body, dotted spots from a film-type layer. Moderate aromas of berry skins. Berry-fruit flavours, prolonged ending. Fair enough. (Birmingham 04.02.2020).

Gravicask på GBBF Winter 2020 i Birmingham. Delt med Rune. Blåbærfarget. Filmskum. Syrlig bæraroma. Smaken tørre bær. Vel søt.

Cask at the hanging bat. Pours reddish orange, nose is banana, BlackBerry, maybe some herbs, taste is sweet, juicy fruit.
