We have always been interested in looking at very old beer styles and I have based this brew on a historic Norwegian style beer.
This low bitterness ale is brewed using Warrior Hops. The beer has a rich malty character, sweet, banana ester, slight background of smoke and complex spicy note from Beechwood Smoked Malt, Malted Rye and Juniper addition.

Third, keg at Head of Steam. Shared with Finn. Hazed orange-reddish body, filmy layer, clingy lacing. Dough fruity smell with a note of smoke. Stewed fruity flavours added by earthy malts. Candy sweet finish. Rather heavy to drink. (Birmingham 03.02.2020).
