Panda at home, thanks to Graham / Grumbo, 30/01/23. Lighter shade of black almost veering to extremely dark mahogany brown topped with a beige cap that dissipates to a swirl. Nose is dark malts, brown bread, cocoa powder, light roast, dried fruit rinds. Taste comprises chocolate sponge, light coffee, toffee, brown sugars, mellow roast. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok porter ... not a lot says 'pick me up' ... just a hint in the flavour profile.

21/1/2023. Can shared at the first ITFC 2023 beer share. From Beer Central, Sheffield. Pours bright mahogany brown with a frothy off-white to beige head. Aroma is coffee, roasted malt, brown sugar, mild tiramisu. Moderate sweetness, quite heavy roasted bitterness develops. Medium body, slightly creamy, average carbonation. Smooth finish. Pretty decent.

Cask ale at Don Valley Tap. Half-pint shared with Finn. A beige head to an almost black coloured body, rings of lace down the glass. Promising smell of biscuit and chocolate malts. Blended taste of mid-sweet stewed fruits and chocolate malts. Malt-driven end, lightly roasted. Pretty alright. (Doncaster 30.01.2020).

Delt med Rune. Ultramørkebrun/svart. Lavt tett skum med litt farge. Lett karamellaroma. Smaken søt frukt. Tørr avslutning.
