From wooden cask, 6.2 % abv, third shared with Finn at Manchester Beer & Cider Festival, Wood Bar. Black in the glass, naked at the top, dotted spots on the glass. Malt-fruity smell, fruity chocolate. Quite well blended taste character of dark bread, chocolate and canned fruits. Ends mid-sweet, lightly roasted. Fine bodied. Likable. (2nd day of the festival, 23.01.2020).

Sample courtesy Grumbo. Small head with short duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are roast malt, chocolate, smoke, hops, licorice and has a nice roasty smoky finish.

Fra trefat på Manchester Beer & Cider Festival 2020. Delt med Rune. Svart. 0 skum. Aroma av røyk. Smaken tørket frukt. Litt sherrypreg etter hvert. Tørr avslutning.

17/01/2020. Cask at the 11th Elysian Winter Beer Festival. Pours almost black with a ruby tint and minimal head. Aroma of dark chocolate, dark fruits, roasted malts, touch of spiced fruit cake, caramel, coffee, vanilla and molasses. Medium sweetness and medium plus roasted bitterness. Medium plus body, slick texture, soft carbonation. Robust for its modest abv. Finished with a slight smoked edge. Enjoyed this (and their other one at the festival) - definitely a brewery I'm going to look out for.
