Tap at Zil Verne. Derep golden color with medium white head. Aroma of oranges, wheat, diacetyl, light hops. Taste, wheat, oranges, zest, diacetyl, light hoppy bitterness in finish.

Tap at Komin. Mostly a classic hefeweizen, clove and banana, full bodied, assertive presence of orange, feeling artificial, like blutorange fizzy beverages. Moderate carbonation. Easy drinking, tasty, though with and artificial feel.

Mein Einstiegsbier in den "Salón piva 2018" in Bratislava. Auf diesem Craftbier-Fest in einer alten Markthalle haben auch 2 bayrische Brauerei einen Stand. Das hat mich doch gewundert, aber ein kurzes Gespräch leistete Abhilfe: In der Slowakei (und auch Tschechien) gibt es keine wirkliche Weizenbier-Kultur und kein gutes Angebot. Nachfrage wäre aber da. Und da springen die Bayern in die Presche und vermarkten ihr Bier. Aber manche lokale Kleinbrauereien trauen sich in dieses trübe Gewässer. Dieses ist gar mit Mandarin-Hopfen gebraut und hat tatsächlich einen leichten Touch nach Mandarine, wobei die klassischen Fruchtaromen zwar gut komponiert sind, aber zu wenig präsent. Es ist ein angenehm frisches Bier mit guten Aromen, aber ein bisschen zu fad.
