Well stored bottle. Unclear dark amber body with a fine tan head. Aroma has malt, toffee, dry fruit and mild alcohol (surprisingly mild for a 11,5 % ABV). Taste is smooth and sweet with rich malt, dry fruit, toffee, wood, vinous and slightly spicy. Fine body and long lasting aftertaste with a warming alcoholic ending. Very nice sipper.

330ml bottle from Mitchells Wine Shop - Fucking Hell. Murky brown body, ugly with no head. Figgy pudding nose, big boozy Christmas pudding taste. Burning alcohol warmth. Dangerously strong, easy drinking.

Draft. A hazy amber beer with a thin yellowish head. The aroma has notes of alcohol, caramel, dried fruits, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, wood, dried fruits, and caramel, leading to a dry woody finish.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a cloudy, murky orangey brown with a small, beige head. Nose is sweet, caramel and toffee - a little booze showing. Rich, sweet body. Caramel and sherry, some positive oxidation and barrel notes. Very old-school British in style. Lovely. 270420

A light haze on this amber beer, small pale tan head. Smooth and slightly viscous palate, reasonable fine carbonation. Smooth malts, cream and caramel and bitterish toffee, quite a distinct savoury vibe, if you told me that salted caramel was an addition here, I’d have believed you instantly. Touch of sweet cinnamon and other spices, liberal black pepper. And I promise never to use that cursed word again in a rating. Oaky ripe fruits and dried fruits. Whisper of vanilla oak. Smooth finish. Comes together well, a big rich ripe semi sweet fruity affair.

330ml bottle bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. Fawn-coloured head slowly diminishing over a cloudy brown-reddish body. Faint lacing. Promising aromas of almond and dried fruits. Quite powerful taste of dried fruits, oak, bread-like malts, and almond. Sweet warming ending that lingers on. Heavy stuff with nice slow sipper qualities on a Yuletide eve. (Tromsø 26.12.2019).
