0,33 bottle with Snegurochka for dessert at Vintage Kitchen. Clear brown body with thin crispy tan layer/head on top. Some bubbles of carbonation. Strong aroma of bitter dark chocolate and dark malts with notes of cocoa, toffee and caramel. Mouthfeel is surprisingly light and smooth but still filling and comprehensive. Quite impressive. With all the sweet components of the aroma it is very pleasing that the flavour is not too sweet at all. After meeting the same taste components of the aroma in the flavour - more or less - the long lingering aftertaste ends on a sweet note. Delightful dessert. Edit: once it neared room temperature notes of warming integrated alcohol and - to a greater extent - dark fruits, more specifically sweet prunes, also come to the fore both in aroma and flavour making for an even more complex drinking experience.

Bottle. It's almost clear in the glass, brown in color, with some beige bubbles on top. Quite intense aroma, with toffee, bread, nuts, some chocolate and alcohol, as well as wood and a good dash of dark dried fruit. It's full-bodied, warming and smoothly carbonated, quite sweet, but not in a cloying way. Toffee, nuts, dark bread crust, some chocolate, wood and dark dried fruit. A faint spiced hint too. Lasting finish. A delicious one indeed, I'd love to repeat it for sure. 220806

330 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 11%. Hazy deep brown colour, small off-white head. Moderate aroma of malts and caramel, hints of dried fruits. Moderate carbonation. Medium sweet flavour of malts, caramel, dark dried fruits and surprisingly decent bittering hops, hints of Christmas spices.
