Seasonal Beer – Summer Prominent town dignitary and head of a very successful trading company in Poole, Thomas Pitt acquired his nickname of ‘Diamond Pitt’ and subsequent vast wealth by purchasing a 410 carat uncut diamond, in 1701, from a merchant in Madras, India. You can still appreciate the beauty, clarity and uniqueness of one of the 141 carat stones that was hewn from its mass, as it is became one of the French crown jewels, La Regent, and is on display today at The Louvre, Paris.

Third, keg at Brewhouse & Kitchen. Shared with Finn. Filmy white head, cloudy golden body, spotty lacing. Cereal and farmyard on the nose. Saison fruity flavours including yeasty fruitiness. Partial refreshing. Satisfying. (Poole 22.10.2019).
